Three Bright PhD students successfully complete their PhD studies at Chalmers University of Technology and University of Gothenburg in Sweden


Hawa Nyende - 08th June 2020
Thesis Title: “Maternal Healthcare in Low-Resource Settings - Investigations of IT as a Resource”
She was supervised by Associate Professor Jonas Landgren, Dr. Peter Nabende, Associate Professor Urban Ask, and Professor Berner Lindström. Dr. Nyende is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Information Technology, School of Computing and Informatics Technology, CoCIS.



Rashidah Kasauli Namisanvu - 10th June 2020
Thesis Title: “Requirements Engineering that Balances Agility of Teams and System-level Information needs at Scale”
She was supervised by Associate Professor Eric Knaus and Associate Professor Benjamin Kanagwa. Dr. Namisanvu is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Networks, School of Computing and Informatics Technology, CoCIS.



Michael Kizito - 11th June 2020
Thesis Title: “Enacting Ambidextrous IT Governance in Healthcare”
He was supervised by Associate Professor Johan Magnusson, Dr. Evelyn Kigozi Kahiigi, and Dr. Tomas Lindroth. Dr. Kizito is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, School of Computing and Informatics Technology, CoCIS.



The three PhD studies were under the Sida BRIGHT project that is funded by Sida under the Makerere-Sweden Research Cooperation. The Sida BRIGHT project is led by Associate Professor Engineer Bainomugisha and Professor Michel Chaudron.
